Nate Cintas was born and raised in Point Loma, California. He began surfing Sunset Cliffs at 12 years old, and has been riding the waves here ever since. Nate also travels to Indonesia twice a year and charges 2-12 foot waves primarily. Friends and fellow surfers will agree that Nate surfs with a strong passion, always out to get the best surf at the best time. Competitively, Nate has been sponsored by big names such as Quicksilver Edition, Arnette, G & S, Plus One and Freestyle.

Locally, Nate is heavily involved in the community and his family. Of course, his kids surf competitively, and the Boardroom also hosts monthly surf videos for kids in the community.

Nate recognized a lack of soul in the local surfing community—thus started the Point Loma Boardroom. The shop is a meeting place for local surfers to not only purchase the highest quality gear around, but also get advice on how to use it. Nate offers up his personal experience to anyone who enters his door, and is always open to sharing a good story or two.
